2016 Convention Recap

WeddingWire world 2016 was by far my favorite event I have attended so far this year at the Gaylord National Resort & Convention Center. They lined up a great group of speakers who all shared very valuable knowledge with all of the attendees. Bethenny Frankel from Skinnygirl Cocktails was one of my favs and she kept it raw as usual. She even blessed up with some singing skills. Gold medalist and Dancing with the Stars champion Shawn Johnson gave an awesome speech on how to rise above difficult times. Monte Durham was funny and discussed a lot of trends in todays industry. Former senior vice president of events for the NFL Frank Supovitz, talked about what to do during tragedies. He was in charge of Super Bowl XLVII when the power went out. That was very interesting to hear how he kept calm and got it all figured out. Sylvia Weinstock was my favorite of them all. She is 86 years young and has designed and made cakes for many of the rich and famous. She also was one of the most intriguing, inspiring, and funniest speakers they had. The entertainment and music was provided by Jason Jani from SCE Event Group and you can see in the nightclub footage, he kept it rocking. I have some footage of the weddi award I was lucky enough to win as well. Huge thanks to Tim and Sonny from WeddingWireEDU for putting on an awesome event.
